HOW I GOT INTO SUGAR GLIDER RESCUE

SouthernBelle Gliders came about in September 2003 with my first pair of Gliders as joeys Gucci and Apollo, who were neutered after I got them both as 8 week old joeys from a wonderful breeder who was my mentor and friend and introduced me to a lot of influential people in the glider community.   Several months after bonding with Gucci and Apollo came their girlfriends Fendi and Coach. Fendi and Coach were my first set of rescue gliders. They came to me needing a new home from people who no longer wanted them.  Then came Quasi and Esmerelda.  These rescued lived with me until they all passed away. I wish I had pictures to post of them but I no longer have any from that time.
